Deanna Russo
Kari Samantha Wuhrer was an American actress known as the actress in the show 'Sliders.' She is also an accomplished singer and released the album of her own "Shiny," in 1999. Wuhrer is originally from Connecticut. She started singing in the early years of her childhood and began performing in nightclubs after she turned a teenager. As a teenager, she began attending Wooster School in order to study acting after which she enrolled at several schools to study drama. Her screen debut came in 1986's romantic drama, 'Fire with fire.' The following year she made her first appearance as an actor on TV, portraying the role of Joanie. She's got around 80 TV and film credits over the span of 3 decades of her professional career. She has also appeared in many mainstream films her reputation is widely recognized as an B-movie queen, with numerous low-budget entries in her filmography. Also, she was a model and former MTV VJ. In 2001 she was awarded her the Best Actress Award for her comedy film Do It for Uncle Mannyin the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival.
