Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in A-levels. She regrets that she didn't receive a standard university education when discussing her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman, while still at High School, was a member of the theatre company In Yer Space. They staged the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The show also received a positive reception. She was awarded with a prestigious award for her performance. Coleman got the part as Jasmine Thomas while she was auditioning at drama schools. It happened in 2005. In 2007 Coleman was awarded two awards. In 2007 Coleman was nominated to win two awards, The British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer and also the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and the Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March press conference in 2012 that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat decided to choose her for the role as she had the best chemistry with Smith. Also, she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She is active in the field since 1987. She was a part of many TV and film projects. Her most well-known work is her television work rather than the film industry. Out of the many roles Eva has played on TV shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which are the most notable. The actress was nominated two "Daytime Emmys" in the first role as well as having the a chance explore her musical creativity. Eva, in addition to being an actress is also a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. Eva has three husbands and an infant from the third.
